Hi, I'm Yohana Sheridan, the owner and operator of Bridge The Gap Dental Solutions. For nearly a decade, it's been my dream to create a business dedicated to supporting dental offices across the country. With 20+ years of experience in the dental field, I'm excited to bring my expertise to practices that need it most.

Why Bridge the Gap Dental Solutions Was Created
The Problem We Address
Bridge the Gap Dental Solutions was born out of a crisis I saw again and again inside dental practices: a lack of true understanding around dental billing, leading to quickly rising Accounts Receivable (A/R) balances and serious financial strain.
Far too often, dental teams are tasked with managing insurance billing without being properly trained, leaving offices trapped in a growing hole that becomes harder and harder to dig out of. And it’s not just billing errors that cause the problem — it’s deeper than that.
Missing insurance verifications, incorrect fee schedules entered into practice management software, and inaccurate transcription of insurance benefits all contribute to the chaos.
My Journey
Early in my career, I found a calling for insurance billing and revenue cycle management. Over the past 22 years, I’ve honed my skills with a passion for helping dental offices succeed. I spent the majority of my career working in the front office — from receptionist to office manager — and developed a focus on mastering dental billing and A/R recovery. I’m proud to say that for years now, I have consistently maintained a 98-99% full-office collection rate.

Our mission is to bridge that gap — empowering dental practices with the right billing processes, systems, and support to stay profitable and in control.
We are fully HIPAA compliant and certified, CPR certified, and highly experienced in major dental software systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, and Eaglesoft. However, we are always open to learning and adapting to meet the needs of the practices we serve.
